Great flexibility
We purchased the floor cleaner last Wednesday and collected it on Thursday Today we tested the machine on hard floors. Following the instructions we very quickly got the hang of operating it. We were very happy with the results. With the use of the detergent we found we had no smell from it. The machine is very versatile and we will venture into cleaning the carpets in due course. We have plenty of water detergent left for many more cleaning.

Excellent pads for my Vax Steam Cleaner
Good range of colours. Washes well. Fit well. Love the Velcro fixing. Easy to change. The pads are bigger than the floor cleaning base so that they fit into the carpet cleaning accessory and keep it in place. Good design!

Steam mop pads
Good quality and well made as you would expect from Vax. I have a Labrador who acts like a magnet to mud so I use my steam mop daily and these really hold up to the job

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vax X8 Steam Pad Kit: these would not be the correct pads for the s-85 vax steam mop.

The supplier has advised the following for the Vax X8 Steam Pad Kit :
"I can confirm the Vax X8 Steam Pad Kit is not compatible with the Vax Steam Glide, model no CDHF-SGXS. There are pads available for that machine through us directly. The SKU/part numbers are 1-1-132319-00 for Vax Steam Pro Cleaning Pads or 1-1-131448-00 for the Vax Microfibre Cleaning Pads x2."
