Introducing Shark Stratos. This powerful corded upright vacuum delivers Shark's best ever hair pick-up with Anti Hair Wrap Plus, removing hair from the brush-roll as you clean. Perfect for long, short and pet hair. Glide from carpets to hard floors with DuoClean – 2 brush-rolls in 1 floorhead. The Anti Hair Wrap Plus brush-roll cleans deep into carpets, drawing out embedded dirt and picking up hair, while a soft front brush-roll pulls in debris and lifts stuck-on dust from hard floors. LED headlights illuminate hidden dust and pet hair.
Anti-Odour Technology protects against bad odour inside the vacuum for a fresher-smelling home. A unique cartridge system guards against dust cup odour commonly caused by pet hair, dust and dander.
Go portable with Powered Lift-Away. Simply lift the main unit away from the wand to easily clean stairs, under furniture and up high in comfort. The brush-rolls continue rotating to draw in dirt, so you can easily clean underneath furniture.

Excellent cleaning including picking up dog hairs. Though head is somewhat small & as an old lady I find it heavy & weighty on my arms to manoeuvre around. Which I am disappointed about because it is a good vacuum.

Having checked I can see to empty this you need to press the release button on the vacuum and the dust pod will come away from the vacuum. You the need to press the lower release button on the pod and the bottom will open so you can empty it.
