About this product
We experience the weather each day as we step outside of our homes, feeling if it's warm or cold, windy or calm, and dry or raining. This weather station allows us to measure these conditions like a true meteorologist. You'll soon be the expert in your family. The weather station is easy to set up so you can track daily conditions, run experiments, record measurements and learn wonderful weather-related facts. You'll soon notice how your readings change throughout the year.
This 5-in-1 weather station includes a 3-cup anemometer that spins to measure the wind speed in either miles or kilometres per hour.
An indicator points to where the wind is coming from, and when used with the integral compass, allows you to keep a record of the wind direction.
The thermometer measures temperature in both degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Finally, a pull-out rain gauge allows you to measure the inches or millimetres of rainfall over a particular period.
Have fun being a hands-on weather watcher and you'll soon be ready to present your own weather report.

It works
The gardening mum was more pleased with this than the 7 y o child. However, a nice but of scientific kit for a reasonable price. Not a toy though.

A bit disappointing
I think if it was heavier, had some DIY build-it aspect, it would have been better for kids. If your ki doesn’t express a desire to know specifically about weather, I wouldn’t buy it.

Just the job
Bought this weather station as a birthday gift for an eight year old. He was very excited to see the box and immediately assembled it. After finding a suitable place in the garden he made some charts to record the results. The product was fit for purpose and a good price.

Perfect gift for a growing child to explore
The Perfect gift for a growing child to explore weather and rainfall , brought for a 6 year old that has since become extremely enthusiastic about how the weather works and we now have our own personal weather man

A gift bought for a school project
We often buy things for our local schools and this was bought for a science project, I’ve bought other things from the range and this met with my high expectations as they were great also. The class room assistant said this was really easy to use , and very informative , but also said it would be great for home use. A weather station may seem a strange gift but if you have kids in the family who like science it’s perfect!

Super educational!
A fun product for my son to get excited about science through weather! Being able to learn how to track wind speed, rainfall and compass directions in his own back garden, with easy to read instructions and initial set up, gives this product a 5* for me.Really enjoy watching my son check the water measure every time it rains too! Weather reporter in the making!

Definitely a boredom breaker
My son has recently become very interested in the weather so we got him this to help him explore and understand different weather conditions. He has been making charts at home and recording the winds speed and the direction it also has a thermometer and a rainfall gauge so he can tell us how much rain has fallen and if we are going to have a warm or cold day.He did need a little assistance in setting it up but once all working he had lots of fun and now we have our own little weather man..definitely worth buying

Fun
Such a fun way for my nephew to learn about the weather! I got him this gift a couple weeks ago now and he loves it. The instructions are easy to understand and it’s nice to know he’s learning about the world around him whilst having fun.
