About this product
The Kendal Extending Oak Dining Table and Two Chairs works for smaller homes where space needs to be flexible. It's a drop leaf design, so you can fold the sides down and tuck it against a wall when you're not using it, then flip them up to create a full dining surface for two. The light oak finish brings warmth to compact kitchens or dining areas. There's a solid wood frame and legs that keep everything stable during meals. Two matching chairs with cushioned seat pads come with the set, so you've got comfortable seating. Each chair supports up to 130kg.
The table works as a desk when you need somewhere to sit with a laptop or spread out paperwork. The drop leaf mechanism is built in, no extra parts to store or lose. The seat pads are PVC faux leather, practical for everyday use. Solid wood throughout means it stands up to regular wear. Simple assembly required, two people recommended for putting it together. Covered by a one year manufacturer's guarantee.

Nice set, not quite as compact as I’d hoped.
I do really like this table & chairs, but the only annoying thing is that you can’t tuck both of the chairs under while the table isn’t extended, so not quite as compact as I’d hoped. Still very happy with it.

I bought this table and chairs sets for my small retirement studio flat and it is the perfect size to fulfill the requirements of bachelor or even retired couple living/dining comfortably. Made with good quality wood and sturdily constructed

For the price the table is adequate. It is reasonably strong and fairly easy to assemble. I would not trust heavy weights on the flaps. My only issue was that one of the chairs was slightly damaged. I didn’t bother to complain as the table is a stop gap and was cheap.

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Kendal Extend White Dining Table & 2 White Chairs before extension size is 45cm and after extending it is 90cm. The table depth is 75cm and if you want to put the chair underneath of the table, the internal dimensions in between leg is 63cm.

With the leaves down, the dimensions are 75cm (length) and 45cm(width).
With the leaves up, the dimensions are 75cm (length) and 90cm (width).
(This is why the website image gives the two measurements on the drawing).
The width of it with just one leaf down would be about 67.5cm.

It would be very snug to sit side by side (even on the long side). Two children could do so.
