The sandwich toaster makes quick tasty snacks
Compact easy to use and clean as the metal plates are removable .To make 2 toasties simply plug in and preheat the toaster while it is heating up butter 4 rounds of medium thick bread cut off the crusts so the bread slices will fit neatly into the 2 toaster compartments when red light is visible the toaster is ready to use place 2 slices of bread butter side out on to the 2 base compartments place your filler on top of bread then put remaining 2 slices of bread butter side out on top of filling close toaster and clip handle shut the red like will go off when your toasted sandwich is ready to eat

Absolutely the worst toastie maker. It doesn't fit 2 sandwiches together. It leaves the worst massive, dry crusts on one side. I only added cheese and it seeped out and ran down the sides and back. The only 'good' thing I can write about. The plates come out and you can wash them.

Handle part broke. Cheap plastic
Didn’t last very long before a cheap plastic part broke at the handle. Why would you use plastic on a pet that is going to take so much use and so much shear stress? Bound to fail. Do they employ any engineers anymore or just designers and marketers and bean counters (penny pinching accountants) ?

This was a replacement that I bought many years ago> The extra depth appealed as there was less chance of any spills. You can use more filling without worrying about the sandwich sticking. The removal of the plates was easy.

The non-stick coating was not tested against PFOA and PTFE and may contain traces which would be within European/UK requirements. All Breville products are tested and comply with all current safety regulations and legislation to ensure they are safe to use.

Since buying this toaster because it says on the Q and A that it takes larger size bread such as Warburtons .It does not it over hangs by some distance.Small size bread is required.Mine is going back to Argos

The Breville VST082 Ultimate 2 Portion Sandwich Toaster - Black is a deep fill toaster and will take large sliced toastie bread. There is no need to cut off the crusts as the sandwich toaster seals the sandwich so crusts are left on and little or no leakage should occur.
