Sturdy
I've bought four of these. I use them for underbed storage. They are transparent enough to be able to see the contents without taking the lid off. They are stackable, so I can use them that way, too. The lids are held in place with latching mechanisms at the handles and are very easy to clip/unclip. They are easy to clean. The sturdy construction means that they will be in use for many years to come. I am very happy with my purchase.

The boxes can be used to store liquid. The lid is not water or an air tight fit. Due to this they would be classed as water resistant, rather than watertight.

These boxes were not specifically designed for food and therefore are not manufactured in a food safe environment. All boxes are made BPA free, however, they are not airtight so this would also affect the ability to store food in them.
