Read my review
Putting aside the fact that the item was to have been collected from Stamford, my local store, I arrived to collect only to find I had to drive to Kettering - I assume Argos decided not to bother to inform me of the change of collection point and the person in Argos, Stamford, could not have been less helpful and was rude beyond belief. The desk was adequate, your staff, however, need picking up on their basic sales manners.

Very disappointed – paint comes off with normal us
I’m really disappointed with this table. It’s very cute and looks lovely at first — the white colour and the little heart detail are charming — but unfortunately the quality is extremely poor. I bought this table around August/September and after less than five months of normal family use, the white paint is already coming off completely. Every time I wipe it down after my children have eaten, more paint comes off. Now the bare wood is showing through in several places. This is supposed to be a table for everyday use, especially in a home with kids, and it simply cannot handle basic cleaning. I’m very upset and disappointed, as I wouldn’t have wasted my time or money if I had known the paint would peel so easily. It may look nice, but the quality does not match the price or expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Awful

Ok for the price
I bought this desk for myself (not a child) because it is exactly the right size. Generally a nice desk, but the pre-drilled holes on one of the legs were out of line. Impossible to get the leg perfectly square, but I managed to get it almost right. I’ve had a lot of experience with flat packs and I’m afraid this is not one of the best ones.

Terrible
Bought for Xmas present, top came damaged, took four hours to build, and extremely flimsy and wobbly.

Looks good-rubbish build!
This desk looks great but the quality of it is very poor. The screws and fixings are inferior quality and one of the legs on the desk is warped meaning the desk itself wobbled everywhere. We bought this for our daughters Christmas and are seriously considering returning it because the quality is so poor and I doubt it will last any period of time. Would NOT recommend!

Poor quality
I bought this for my son so he can do his homework and drawing using the desk. the instructions were very clear but the quality is very poor and the drawer gets stuck so you have to yank on it to open. it seems very flimsy and poor quality.

Hi Rach
Habitat Kids Rico 1 Drawer Desk
It is recommended that the product is built to its final position otherwise this can affect the stability and may void your guarantee. Also, it will have pre-drilled holes on the inner side panels together with built in grooves for the drawer runner which will be on view.
Thank you for using Q&A
