Loved the fact it is made from recycled cooking fat, but nothing else special about it for the price.Listed as white but is not really white but it does its job of boiling water.

Really like this kettle
I can’t get too excited over a kettle, but they are on show. This one is a matt finish off white with a nice looking wooden lid. So far so good. I’m surprised how lovely it looks . Yep very pleased.

It is good. I have no complaints.
At first I was not very happy because the lid was separate, but after I got used to it , I quite like it. Phillips is reliable, our previous kettle lasting very long time more than 10 years still going just we needed a larger one. It is light and easy to clean and fast.

hi there i have the toaster of the same collection and i can confirm this is not really white, its more like off white ? but its a lovely colour!!! and its got some sight specles too which i really like!! i hope this helps, i have just ordered the kettle now!

The plastics used in the Philips HD9365/11 Conscious Collection Kettle - White are classed as Bio-based (information taken from Philips website).
“Bio-based” plastics are not biodegradable and behave just as regular plastics do. Plant matter can even be fermented into ethylene to create “bio” alternatives to common plastics, such as bio-PET in place of PET. The only distinguishing factor is how they’re made – not how they perform or how long they last in the environment.
