The DHT-S216 works with any smart, HD and 4K TVs. Use the included HDMI cable to send audio from your Smart TV and other connected sources to the system via the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Using HDMI also enables control of the Denon DHT-S216 via your TV's remote control.

Great quality typical of Denon
Denon you're never disappointed with a Denon purchase,a great soundbar great bass and clear voice as well, recommend it over higher priced soundbars which I've had in the past ,

Good sound all round
This soundbar does exactly what it says on the box . I wear hearing aids so needed sound that clarifies voices on the tv and this is the one. I am very pleased and definitely recommend for anyone who struggles to hear the tv.

remote rubbish
As the title says the remote control is rubbish. You press the volume button and nothing seems to register on the blue light dots on the front display. I have gone back to using my tv remote to alter the volume which works fine. Other than that it is a good soundbar, set up simple and sound good.

Good sound, quality for money
I bought this Denon 2.1 soundbar to replace a cheap 2.0 one. It has a better all round sound quality as it has a built in base speaker included. For the price it is a very well made soundbar, with good audio, as is easy to use.

Brilliant
I bought this knowing nothing about sound. This has opened my eyes to the quality that can be achieved with electronic sound devices. Watch a film and it’s like a cinema!! Amazed, well pleased. Great value!
I did a bit of looking around for a replacement soundbar to replace an older LG soundbar with wired subwoofer which connected to our TV via Bluetooth and we found the connection unreliable and recently not able to connect it to the TV. We have connected this Denon soundbar to the TV via the HDMi Arc input on the TV so it comes on when we switch the TV on. We used to have to watch programmes and films with subtitles turned on as we couldn’t hear what was being said but the ‘dialog enhancer’ function on the Denon soundbar makes this no longer necessary. You only realise how poor the sound quality was when you hear the difference and the difference is notable with this soundbar, so many more sounds in films and instruments in music that fill our lounge. There is a slight vibration and maximum volume/bass but is reduced when the bass/volume is tweaked and still provides an amazing sound. Would recommend (for the price point).

Fantastic buy
Wow what a fantastic buy I had the Sky soundbox quite a while and saw this Denon in the sale so thought it's time to change as I wasn't that happy with the Sky one after so many years. What a difference and so easy to set up and compatible with the Sky remote too so very happy with the sound bar. We were watching a film and my wife thought it was raining outside and no it wasn't outside it was that clear the sound, it was the rain in the film. I knew Denon was a trusted and well known brand plus at the price I paid in the sale what I got was an absolute bargain. Highly recommended
