I am Very Happy with My Purchase
It's really easy to install. It comes with spare adhesive and 2 sets of cables. Video quality is very good There is a Garmin Drive app I had to install to my phone and make a connection with the camera. It s a little slow when you want to download the video to your phone but it wasn't a big issue if I switch off Bluetooth while video is downloading.

Excellent small dash cam!
Purchased around a month ago as forward facing dash cam, was that pleased with I purchased another for the rear. Dash cam is small and fits neatly behind rear view mirror completely out of site. Mounting fixture is sturdy and stick pad for fixing hold it solid. Comes with two lengths of cable, I used short for the front and longer one for rear and all cables fit neatly behind trim so completely out of site. Video playback is easy as it can all be viewed from phone via Bluetooth. Memory card can be removed to view and save on PC. Picture quality is excellent and give a wide view.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Garmin Mini 2 Car-key Size Dash Cam: ''I would not recommend using a solar charger for this device, It is designed to work while connected to 12V charge constantly. I don't think a solar charge would be able to match this.''

“ Videos recorded by the Dashcam Mini 2 are stored in MP4 file format, and photos are stored in JPG format. You can view and transfer photos and videos by connecting the memory card or the device to your computer. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Garmin Mini 2 Car-key Size Dash Cam:
Having it connected to Wifi means it can have a Live view and see what is shown on the dashcam without needing to connect via Bluetooth, You can view, trim and edit the videos on our app without being connected to the device, You can also update it using Wifi. The Wifi feature also allows the device to be used for Parking Guard (Video footage of your car parked in case of an incident).

The Garmin Mini 2 Car-key Size Dash Cam can record onto a micro SD card.
To view recording online you would require a subscription.
The camera does need power when the car is parked - to power with a USB power bank the specs of both the camera and the power bank will need to be compaired.
A separate cable cable can be purchased from Garmin to hard wire to the car battery electric system.
To view while the car is parked a wifi connection will be needed.

You can leave the adhesive mount on the windscreen and then remove the camera. Its a ball joint that you can just pull the camera off.

As this is adhered using 3M type adhesion this will only be able to be removed once. Additional tape will be required to reattach.

No - the one Argos recommends to be purchased with this dashcam on the website does not fit! As we discovered at our cost! It is too big.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Garmin Mini 2 Car-key Size Dash Cam
Live View will only work when the Dash Cam is in range of a connected wifi network. The camera will switch on and start recording when it detects motion, it's not designed to send an alert to your phone when it does this.
