Badly made bed
Spent several hours trying to set up this bed. It doesn't close. Followed the instructions, but when it's completely coupled, the bed doesn't close. The lift part (not sure what you call it) is too wide for the base. An attempt to force close it will cause the base to collapse.

Bought two single Lavendon Ottomen beds for our guest room. They were farily easy to put together having made a similar Kings bed last year. Appears to be well manufactured and we have been very pleased with them. Great storage capacity. We ordered the grey version which is more a green/ grey but looks fine.

These beds are ok, but not really that well made.
Not very sturdy at all, we bought 2 for our teenagers, one has already broken at the headboard and had to put a bracket on it, so I wouldn’t recommend these for adult use.

The measurement of 28.5cm refers to the size (height) of the side panel of the Home Lavendon Double Side Open Ottoman Bed Frame-Black. The actual storage height inside the bed is dictated by the frame dimensions and mattress height. Once these have been taken into account, the frame has support legs 20.5cm high fixed to a support frame which accounts for a further 3cms. Therefore the minimum storage height is 20.5cm (for larger items) and maximum storage height is 23.5cms (for smaller items) depending on what is being stored.
