This washing line can be used both outdoors and indoors. The Vileda Cordomatic can retract to any length upto 15m and when not in use the lines retract back into the container to keep them clean and tangle free. It also allows you to free up your garden space. The Cordomatic comes with screws and plugs for easy installation.
Vileda Cordomatic is a retractable washing line which extends to any length upto 15m.
Once your washing is dry, the lines can be retracted back into the strong container which keeps them clean and tangle free when not in use.

Line doesn't fully retract
Purchased to replace the same item which had lasted many years. The retraction is not as good; the last few feet of line have to be more or less manually fed into the case and I haven't succeeded in getting the last few inches of line in. I don't know if this a fault with this individual item or a general issue because the manufacturer has downgraded the spring.

A good strong line for the price!
Seems a good strong line and easy to install but finding it hard to automatically retract into the casing when I need to take it down, maybe it’s user error!

The hook is under the housing of the unit. You need to wrap the line around it to stop it from extending when in use.
