This Double hotplate hob's compact design gives you more cooking options with its 2 cast iron heating plates, suitable for all kinds of cookware and the durable powder coated steel exterior makes it easy to clean. 2500W power is split between the large hotplate (1500W) and the small hotplate (1000W) with independent variable heat settings for ultimate cooking control. The lightweight compact design comes with foldable handles so it is easy to move around and store away.

From kitchen to camping
We have purchased this as a temporary fix, to use alongside our airfryer, whilst our cooker gets repaired. Really good so far. The hobs do get very hot and when boiling items we've needed so turn it down really low. The plan is to go on to use the hobs for camping this summer. Great value for money too.

Great item
I had a single hot plate before and upgraded to this new model and it's really nice and it's design and sleekness and weight and it heats up super quickly it performs like a normal cooker I'm very impressed and thankful for it. I've had no electrical problems as one of the reviews suggested only positive. Just make sure you do the instructions and burn off the chemicals when you first use it though I tried without it and it ruined a pan of vegetables.

Not as good as I'd hoped
I brought this a couple of months ago but although it works it isn't as good as previous ones of a different brand that I've had in the past. The design feels/looks cheaper even though it isn't and it looks very worn and is starting to rust already. If you need something short term it is good enough but I wouldn't buy this one again.

Worst thing I have ever bought.
This is the worst thing I've ever bought. I only bought it because my hob had stopped working amd I used it for 5 days but in those 5 days it was already developing rust on the plates.

The same has happened to me. I replaced the plug fuse but that didnt work contacted Argos was told that since its not a technical problem I have to go and have it repaired with a third party electrician at my expense.
