Located the right cable for the job and collected it at my own convenience. What more can you ask? Can't tell much about the cable performance yet as I haven't used it more than couple of times – once without issue, the other time my laptop had a completely flat battery and wouldn't charge at all, but I doubt that was the cable's fault (think it's intended for phones and tablets). Conflicting advice on whether it's compatible with fast charge. The 3m length is very convenient for me - but does that affect performance? who knows?

Only the price stops it being 5* I purchased a second short lead, same type, for under £3 including delivery!! Be aware this needs a dedicated charger different from a USB one
