Not sure about the few reviews I've seen that weren't happy because honestly, this is an amazing chess set for the price. It's certainly a beautiful piece to have around. Excellent craftsmanship and the size makes it easy to cart around with me whenever I'm travelling (always a bonus). Picked up from St John's Argos, Liverpool, so extra points to the two staff members for professionalism, courtesy, and overall friendliness. 👍👍👍
