Lovely Wall Clock
This wall clock was the perfect size that I needed to go with 2 other wrought iron wall decorations I have. I really like it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was I wasn’t too keen on the grey dusty bits flecked on it but on the wall it isn’t as noticeable. Overall it’s a lovely clock and notuceabke but not too big.

Lovely big clock with roman numerals. It operates quietly which is something you don't think about until its noisy! The downside to this clock is ghe arms and the face are a similar colour and makes it difficult to read at a glance. I've painted the tips of the arms gold which has made it easier to read. Good value for money.

Yes, the numerals are as shown with four being represented as IIII rather than IV and this is a correct picture. This is a common thing on clocks with Roman numerals and this format for the number four has been in use for several centuries, though the IV form is also used, (e.g. French clocks from the 18th century use IIII quite often but in contrast the "Big Ben" clock face uses IV). It is not related in any way to the price or quality of the product but simply to a long accepted stylistic standard for clock faces that has run alongside the older Roman version.
