OF COURSE NOT! This is NOT designed for holding a sewing machine or ANYTHING THAT BIG OR HEAVY! It is NOT strong enough or big enough. These things are very lightweight, and the wire baskets are quite flimsy.This is designed for holding things like fruit and vegetables, though could be used to hold some stationary, wool and yarns, or craft items for eg..

Please note, an earlier Argos staff member stated the maximum weight each wire rack can hold is 2kg NOT 5kg.
I would NOT recommend filling this trolly with heavy tins and jars. If you fill each wrack with tins and jars you are likely to overload the wire racks, which only clip together and have either small welds or clip into the uprights. The wire racks are not that sturdy and can bulge or break with heavy usage. This is designed for holding things like fruit and veg, though could be used to hold lightweight items like say tea towels, napkins, or used for alternative storage, like say craft supplies.

1. Argos reply should say A4 sized paper will fit in the racks NOT A1 sized paper which they wrote, as it is 4 times bigger than A4, and would NOT fit! 2. This IS for home use and is NOT APPROPRIATE FOR USE IN A WORKPLACE, ESPECIALLY NOT IN A CLASSROOM, as it would NOT PASS Health and Safety or SAFEGUARDING Regulations! Schools have a DUTY OF CARE to children and staff, and ALL equipment must be safety checked, risk assessed and covered by their insurance. Speak to the Head and TU rep for info.

No. This is NOT appropriate for use to hold tall bottles. Aside from the issue of the weight of full bottles and the risk of overloading the trolly.. the baskets are a tad flexible, the sides are short, and even if the bottles stood upright, they are likely to full out. This is NOT safe or appropriate for storing bottles in.

With the design, shape and height of such bottles not being standardised, I cannot confirm if it will fit all 1L bottles. The space between the shelves is about 17.5cm so it could accommodate some standing 1L bottles but not all.
