About this product
Keep your lawn neat with the Flymo EasiGlide Plus 330V hover lawnmower. It's a corded electric mower designed for small to medium gardens. The 1700W motor floats on an air cushion so you'll glide over uneven ground. You can manoeuvre easily around flower beds and obstacles. Dual lever handles let you operate comfortably with either hand. The grass box has a viewing window so you'll know when it needs emptying. A metal blade delivers clean cuts across the lawn.
You'll adjust between four cutting heights to match your preferred finish. The quick-fold handles collapse for vertical storage in tight spaces. A 10m power cable gives you good reach around the garden. The grass box collects up to 20L before you need to empty it. This corded mower means consistent power throughout the job. It's got a safety switch for added protection during use.

A bit disappointing!
I read several reviews on this, good and bad, but decided to try it anyway. I was looking for a lighter weight machine as I’m now finding my wheeled mower a bit mauling. I thought I’d try this and it is a lot lighter, however, that is due to it being a lot more flimsy. The slightest bit of uneven ground makes it spit grass out rather than put it into the grass box, which is also flimsy. I had hoped the shape of it would get into tighter spaces but the blade is a lot shorter than the surrounding casing, meaning it doesn’t get close. The side of my wheeled mower does a better job at getting closer around objects. The Flymo is also a lot louder than my wheeled mower, which is also electric. The spacers for adjusting the cutting height are more hassle than on a wheeled mower, please make sure you wear gloves if you change the blade height. Basically, if I’d looked at it in a shop before I’d bought it, I wouldn’t have bothered.

This is a replacement for an old style 33cm Flymo and it is as good as the old one if not better as you can see the grass cuttings better.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Flymo EasiGlide Plus 330V 33cm Corded Hover Lawnmower: Unfortunately we can not advise the use of a grass collecting machine without the grass box. They are designed to be used as they are manufactured.

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
"Unfortunately they aren't interchangeable. Because of the different requirements and mechanisms of the machines, the different product ranges usually have different spacers.
I've just checked the EasiGlide and the TurboLite and the spacers are different. We would not advise using the spacers from your EasiGlide in another machine".

The differences are that 9164301 has an extra large vision window, you can stand it up for easy storage, the other 8848037 does not have a vision window, I will get description amended

Be careful when tightening the cable lugs that go on the side of the handle, you can keep winding them in and they will crush the tubular handle, “ too thin “
