About this product
The Squares Plus storage unit sorts books, toys and everyday bits without eating up floor space. It's a four-cube design that gives you open shelving to show off favourite things or tuck items away. The grey wood effect finish works in living rooms, bedrooms or kids' spaces. Extra thick frames and hidden fittings keep the look really clean from every angle. You can leave the cubes open or add matching cupboards, drawers or canvas boxes to suit how you like to organise. There's a spot for standard cube storage boxes, so you can mix open and closed storage.
Each shelf holds up to 7.5kg, so there's plenty of support for books, toys or home essentials. Four fixed shelves spread the weight evenly and stay sturdy through daily use. The unit's got to be securely fixed to the wall to prevent tipping, that's really important if you've got kids in the house. Wall fixings aren't included, so you'll need to pick up the right ones for your wall type. It's flat-pack and designed for one person to put together, with clear instructions provided. The unit weighs 16kg and holds up to 30kg total.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Squares Plus 4 Cube Storage Unit: While it is possible to assemble this unit by omitting one of the short dividers, it will invalidate any guarantee, safety conformity etc.. Note that one internal divider spans the whole unit with 2 short dividers running in the other direction. Also note that if a divider is omitted it will leave visible holes in the panels.

Standard 12-inch vinyl records typically have covers measuring around 31.43 cm (12.375 inches) square. This means the cubes in the Habitat unit should comfortably fit your vinyl records.

The external sides and top and bottom shelves of the Habitat Squares Plus 4 Cube Storage Unit - Black are all full sized panels therefore it would not be possible to just have one cube on the top to give an L shaped unit.
