At Slumberdown, we believe everybody deserves a better night's sleep. The Slumberdown 7kg Weighted Blanket is part of our Wellbeing range and is ideal for anytime of the day or night. Weighted blankets are known to help improve sleep quality and can be used to relieve stress and anxiety. The lovely soft blanket is filled with glass microbeads creating a gentle pressure over your entire body giving the sensation of being hugged, this allows you to relax, unwind and feel a sense of calm and restfulness. Made in the UK.
Weighted blankets have been used to reduce or manage the symptoms of: sleep disorders, mood disorders like depression and anxiety, PTSD, restless leg syndrome arthritis, fibromyalgia, and pain, general stress. Please consult the product leaflet prior to use to ensure this is suitable for you.

I bought this for my daughter who suffers from FND and this blanket was recommended to help stop her tremours and aid resting. From day one she found it wonderful and now I have a second blanket for my grandson who is autistic and he has found it very good as well

Good nights sleep
My son had a weighted blanket, so thought I would try one. Suits me very well, as it hugs you and you don't get to hot. Not sure if you shared a bed!! But my sleep has improved.

Lovely Weight, not too hot.
Had this for a month-ish and it's massively improved my partner's sleep. It's about 10% of the user's weight which is ideal - heavier isn't always better! It's a glass bead fill which is completely hypoallergenic and means no microplastics in the air if you care about that sort of thing. Doesn't get too hot but you won't need a duvet on top of it. If you do want a duvet cover I'd recommend sewing in some velcro patches to both as the weight of the blanket will make a bit of a tangle if put inside a cover unrestricted. Size is around 1.5x a single duvet we reckon. This is still only enough for one person - you ideally want some of the blanket hanging off the bed to aid in the positive effects of the weight. Overall this is a no-brainer. There are many, many weighted blankets of far worse quality around being sold for a LOT more money. A real bargain.

Weighted blanket
This blanket is so beneficial to a good quality night's sleep . It has helped me recover from muscle soreness from work ( postman) and intense training sessions in the gym . Helps you relax and get off to sleep quicker even If you wake up in the night . Keeps heat trapped in .. thing is its so good makes it harder to get up in the morning.

Great blanket
It’s takes a little while to get used to the weight but not long .after this I liked the weight and feeling of being snug and secure. I do find the blanket makes me warm so I’ll probably use it more in the winter. It’s the next best thing to actually begin hugged in bed

So the Slumberdown Wellbeing Weighted Adults Blanket - 7kg might be most suitable for someone who is approximately 70kg. Be mindful, this is a rough guide only and others may prefer a blanket that is between 5-12% of their body weight. This is very much a subjective opinion.
