Good product, instructions not complete
The probe is good: large display so easy to read; quick to reach temperature; appears robust. Please note: the instructions don't tell you that you have to open the battery compartment and remove a small plastic tab before the probe will work. This should be clearly flagged but isn't. Hence the loss of a star.

The temperature range is - 45 to 200C. So yes, you can use it for yogurt making, around 35C.

"The extra-long 180 mm probe is perfect for using to check temperatures when making jam, confectionary, BBQ, meat temperatures and more." As no reference is made to Yoghurt, we'd have to advise that it's not suitable.
