This Guild 1300W wet and dry vacuum cleaner is ideal for cleaning up dust, debris, sludge or water. All in a surprisingly compact design. It sucks and blows with serious power. Whether you're unblocking a dirty drain, cleaning up sawdust, sweeping the patio or inflating an air bed, you will get the job done quickly and easily. Please note, this is not a carpet cleaner.
Vacuums wet or dry areas. Use with or without a dust bag. Use the cloth filter to capture dry debris in the tank or add a dust bag for more hygienic disposal. Use the foam filter to extract liquids.
Vacuum or blow. Plug the suction hose into the exhaust port and turn this vac into a powerful blower to make light-work of sweeping.

I can advise that you only need to use a dust bag when you are using this for dry cleaning, no bag is needed for wet cleaning.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Guild 16 Litre Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner - 1300W: The Guild 16L wet and dry vacuum cleaner is suitable for most floor surfaces. The product comes provided with a universal floor nozzle and an interchange carpet nozzle for improved pick-up efficiency across carpets and rugs. Please not that this is a wet and dry vacuum cleaner designed for DIY and garage clear up and does not feature a rotating brush bar for deep carpet cleaning like a traditional upright vacuum cleaner.

Yes, you can use it to remove air locks from water pipes, but it doesn't have an attachment to fit it to a tap.

The Guild 16 Litre Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner - 1300W can be used to clear sludge but, depending on the size of the pond and amount of sludge accumulated, this may take multiple attempts to clear. This is best carried out with the pond drained beforehand.

Guild 16 Litre Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner - 1300W
To use the blower function, please follow the below instructions which can be found on page 18 of the instruction manual -
1. Verify that the power cord is disconnected from the power socket.
2. Make sure the container and any collected waste is emptied before using as a blower. This also includes removal of the dust bag.
3. Remove hose from the vacuum port.
4. Insert the locking end of the hose into the blowing port on the rear side of the power head and lock into position (Fig. 11).
5. Fit the desired extension wand or nozzle to the vacuum cleaner hose (Fig. 12).
6. Ensure the power switch is turned off and plug into the power supply.
7. Before turning on the wet and dry vacuum cleaner, firmly hold the loose end of the hose. Turn on the motor by turning the switch to the ‘I’ ON position.
