Argos sold me seconds
The items were clearly used and had marks of use on it, the items were packed in the wrong boxes and I nearly returned them thinking that they wouldn’t pair. Not happy to have paid for brand new items and got seconds.

It does the job.
I like it, but I wouldn't pay that price again for the little use I get. I don't like the fact that you need a bridge to use them! (extra cost for the bridge) (if you don't buy the bridge, they only light up on a single colour when plugged in and can't dim it)

Easy to install and control lights
Hue play lights are easy to install in the house and add to the hue app. Easy to control either through hue or apple play, providing just the light you need. Easy to check online , so no more worrying if you left the lights on!

Original and the best
I now have 6 of these in my living room. 2 behind the TV and the rest in the alcoves. You need a hub and a sync box to be able to mirror the colours of your TV screen which can get pricey but the affect is amazing. There are cheaper alternatives available but they don’t work as well, don’t have the same colour range and keep dropping connection. So if you really want this in your life then pay for the best. Even without it synced to your TV, the range of colour ‘scenes’ that are possible to set the mood in your room is endless. It’s a great way to light your home. Pop them in your favourites with a hub and sync box (if you don’t already have them) because the price sometimes drops. And Argos can have some of the best prices for these lights. Enjoy!

Another Quality product from philips
This isn't my first set of play lights.I find these are easy to set up and they simply just work. I find these easy to put in corners for a nice bit of added light, due to their size they can pretty much fit anywhere in many small places. Some of these I've used for behind my tv and connected to my sync box. They produce plenty of light.You can wall mount them, stick them to the back of your tv or anywhere else you can think of! you can lay them down or stand them up with or without the included stands these lights come with.

I can advise the following for the Philips Hue Play Smart Light Bar Double Pack Black Extension:
Yes, as well as the Hue Bridge for the whole system to work. Or if you have a 2022 or newer Samsung TV you can download the Hue Sync app on the app store of the TV and negate the use of the Sync box. The Bridge is still required for either set up.

This is a hard bundle made up of a twin pack and extension, so technically you get 3 luminaires.

Hello there
You do have the ability to have these freestanding or wall mounted. You also require to have to have the Philips Hue Bridge to allow these to work with general colour. If you want to use them without a PC then you will need to have the Sync box to allow them to mach the light from you HDMI image.
