Good little laundry box
This is a nice small laundry box which fits perfectly in the gap i needed it. The design is simple and feels well made. The instructions were ok to follow as they were simple pictures but didn't exactly match the pieces given (clearly a general instructions manual rather specific) therefore I had to guess which holes to put the dowels into, of which they did fit snug but it was fine for the price paid. The finished construction felt sturdy.

It isn’t very heavy I’m only 5ft and I managed to carry it without any help which isn’t normally the case.

I'd say it depends on weight. I'm 8 stone and have sat on mine without it collapsing!
It does seem very sturdy so I'm confident it'd take more weight than this plus it seems daft to be designed with a seat and then tell you not to sit on it. Probably a case of health and safety gone mad.
My advice would be use one's common sense with regards to the weight put on it.
