We using it for extra cushions and throws - we have an awkward space under the stairs so one reason was the size and that it matched other light wood and bamboo furniture.. Equally use it for laundry or toy box

Pity about the assembly problems
Looks good but sadly one of the poi Looks good once assembly problems resolved. Holes for the liner retaining pegs too big and pegs had to be glued; liner fixing points wrongly positioned and could not be attached to retaining pegs; retaining strap fixing on one side not predrilled.

Lining doesn't fit the basket
Poor quality. Bought it to match the same basket, which I bought a years ago. The lining is a cheaper plastic material and doesn't even fit the basket. Also had to drill new holes as the pre-drilled ones don't work for the assembly.
