Started well, ended badly
I bought the HZ500 UK 12 Duo Clean with anti hair wrap in January 2025 from AO. Ordering and delivery easy and fast. I have only used it for domestic vacuuming as I kept my old Dyson for the real messy clean ups after moving to my new home. 2nd use the attachment for doing the stairs broke; the plastic is very brittle. I had not registered the cleaner at that point so I didn't go back to Shark for a replacement. I was going to buy another but have managed without. I don't like how it doesn't stand up on its own, you have to lean it against something while you empty the (ridiculously) small dust collector. On the plus side it does fold down for storage, which is neat. I like the headlights for vacuuming in the dark! Seriously, they're handy for under sofas etc. What I especially dislike is the build up of hair. So much for the anti hair wrap technology. I've just spent 1/2 hour trying to get the brush head cover off (numerous YouTube videos and Shark's AI help bot) to no avail. The roller came out easily but I had to cut the threaded hair with scissors to get it all out (yuk).

- Press the wand release button to detach the handheld vacuum from the wand.
- Squeeze both Dust Cup Release buttons simultaneously to remove the dust cup from the
handheld vacuum.
- Hold the dust cup over the bin, press the Empty button, and open the dust cup.
- To reattach the dust cup to the handheld vacuum, insert the tip first at an angle, then push up until you hear a click.
