About this product
Need to drill into masonry or drive screws into various materials? This Black Decker cordless hammer drill handles wood, metal and masonry with ease. Powered by an 18V battery included in the kit, its all-metal motor and gearbox deliver 21,000 BPM for hammer drilling tough masonry. Variable speed from 0 to 1400 RPM ensures precise drilling and screwdriving. The 10 torque settings adjust power for different materials. A temperature overload function shuts the unit down if it overheats. The kit includes a 10-piece drill parts set so you can start your project immediately.
The keyless chuck makes part changes quick and simple without extra tools needed. You'll switch between forward and reverse using the function control for versatile use. The soft grip handle keeps things comfortable during extended jobs. It's got drilling capacity of 25mm in wood, 10mm in steel and 10mm in masonry. The two gear system adapts to screwdriving, drilling and hammer drilling applications. A hardwearing kit box stores and transports the tool safely. The 1.5Ah battery charges fully in up to 3 hours with the included charger.

Brilliant around the house for those jobs that just need a quick fix but also very versatile for slightly bigger projects too,

Great buy
Great does everything
Useful
Handy and Compact
Generally happy with this and also bought some more fittings to ensure I had everything required. It does the job though you'll want to do the final turns yourself if screwing in. Generally gets in most small places too.

Do not buy!
Only used it a few times over a few weeks and now the chuck is stuck and I can’t remove the screwdriver bit! So it can’t be used as a drill now! Rubbish.

A fab little drill set
I bought this a few weeks ago to replace a very old cordless drill that I've been using for years. I'm very glad I did as it is super easy to use, very compact, comes with drill bits and screwdriver bits, and did a great job. I needed to change the torque a few times and that was straightforward too.
