About this product
The Argos Home Mia Mid Sleeper gives your child a raised sleeping space that frees the floor below for play, storage or extra furniture. This white single bed has a solid wood frame for stability. High protective sides prevent rolling out, and a sturdy ladder, positionable on either side, allows safe climbing. Playful cut-out hearts and bevelled edges add character. Designed for children aged six and over, with a maximum weight of 120 kg. Includes a Habitat Kids Rae Comfort mattress, so you have everything ready to go.
The mattress has an open coil design with 323 springs providing firm support for growing bodies, while fibre filling adds cushioning. It's foam- and chemical treatment-free, with a soft anti-allergy cover that helps prevent dust mites and skin irritations. The bed includes wooden slats and arrives flat-packed with clear instructions. Two people are recommended for assembly, and wall-mounting is required for safety. With 74.6 cm of space underneath, you can add storage boxes, a desk, or a cosy den. Part of the Mia collection, so you can match it with other pieces when furnishing the room.

Great children’s bed
Bought a month ago and has been great so far. Does take a little while to build but once it’s up it’s sturdy and durable, really good quality and looks amazing.

Great bed that helps with storage
Purchased this bed for my daughter, it is perfect for her, she loves the bed and uses the underneath for storage and a 'den' for her to play in. The bed sides are great and nice and safe for her when sleeping. I put the bed together on my own, wasn't too difficult took me about 2 hours, although it would be a lot easier with 2 people. The only slight negatives, whilst the bed feels more than sturdy enough for her, it is very creaky when she's climbing up and down. The weight limit is stated at 120Kg, I wouldn't want to test anywhere near that on the bed. With that in mind this bed is great for kids but I wouldn't want to use it for an adult.

Hello there. The standard size of a single mattress is 90 X 190cm which is the same as the mattress for the Habitat Mia Mid Sleeper and Silentnight. However, as the bed has been raised from the ground, and as a precaution, the mattress depth is advised to be no more than 16cm for safe usage of the bed.

Having checked, it comes with the Silentnight Healthy Growth Kids Classic Mattress - Single, cat no: 314/8512.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know the width of the Mia mid sleeper in the end without the ladder is : 963mm
The bolt heads sticking out on the legs is 2.5mm each side. They take up 5mm extra space.

The supplier has only stated a minimum age (6+).
They tend not to specify a max age as this depends on taste and size of the user - there is a maximum weight limit this bed has been tested to and that is 120kg
