This Laptop is a Gem!
This laptop is a gem! This was purchased to replace my wife's ancient and very slow laptop. This is to a good specification, starts quickly, and we purchased with an excellent deal of £100.00 off (until beginning of February.) The same machine is being offered by other suppliers for well over the price that Argos were offering it. We were a bit concerned about the colour, but, in fact, it is very pleasing - a soft gold colour rather than a brassy harsh colour. (It is described as platinum gold). My wife has only been using it for a short time so far, but very happy so far.

Purchased this laptop a few weeks ago, I have never had a Asus laptop before, I am pleased I got this as it is ideal for my college course work, find it very fast and a great choice. Also the blacklight keyboard is a bonus which you can adjust the brightness on using the keyboard.

Happy overall with this ASUS laptop
I’m happy overall with this ASUS laptop. Performance is very good for everyday use, multitasking is smooth, and the build quality feels solid. The display is sharp and comfortable to use, and the system runs quietly. My only real issue is the keyboard backlight. It does not adjust automatically based on ambient light, and this can be distracting, especially in changing lighting conditions. You have to manage it manually, which feels like an unnecessary inconvenience on an otherwise well-designed laptop. Aside from that, it’s a reliable and fast machine, and I’m satisfied with the purchase. If ASUS added automatic backlight control, it would be close to perfect.
