This lifting coffee table is built to handle working from home, relaxed evenings, and keeping your living room organised. The lift-up tabletop adjusts to a comfortable height for using a laptop, eating or working without leaving the sofa. It's a sturdy design that supports everyday use, with a smooth grey finish that handles minor knocks and wipes clean. Inside there's over 23 litres of hidden storage space, accessible from either side, for remotes, magazines or charging cables. The undershelf keeps everyday items within reach without cluttering the surface.
The lifting mechanism raises the tabletop smoothly and holds it securely in place while you work or eat. The storage compartment under the lid provides a quick way to tidy away clutter when guests arrive. An open undershelf below accommodates items up to 21cm tall, so there's space for storage boxes or books. The chunky frame spreads weight evenly across the floor. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings included.
The handy undershelf provides space for keeping necessities close by and the lift-up top exposes a spacious storage compartment of over 23 litres, that's accessible from either side. We can't recommend a lift-up top enough, it brings your drinks and snacks closer to you as you lounge. What's not to love about that?

Cheap and cheerful?
Within a week of use the whole top surface was marres and bubbling in places. The finish and material is too cheap for a centrepiece for your front room. Functional and sturdy but looks cheap!! Avoid!!

Lifting desk
I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Delivery was nice and fast. We love the colour of the desk and it was quite easy to build too, however, the main desk piece had paint coming of the sides which was quite disappointing. The storage area is a decent size.

"Table Tastic!"
Bought recently and seems fine "as we speak " took a while to complete, The instruction manual recommend that two people are present to complete construction but I did on my own , using the cardboard outer case as a work bench. Laying out all items and fixtures and resting main desk/Table top on this and it was fairly easy to assemble if looking on plan ahead to see what goes where and constructed in fairly short time,I got used to tale top raising mechanism where to apply lifting action to raise table without damage to any items already on table the multiple use a bonus to have.

Very bad quality and colour not as shown on picture, more grey. Very cheap looking and bit that lifts up lifts on like 30cm up so mot very helpful

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the GFW Lift Up Coffee Table - Walnut: The thickness of the shelf is 1.5cm and the load capacity over the whole unit is 10kg.
