I used it whilst doing twitch live streams and from the recording I made for YouTube I am blown away buy the audio quality of my voice it’s very clear and natural.. the set up process was very easy and from unboxing the product I could tell it was a well made and well thought of product. Top Quality Microphone

I found the setup very simple, just plug and play and easily able to detect my laptop. I have been using this microphone for my own personal use and for work i.e. zoom call and the sound quality is very rich, accurate just like radio broadcast. If you're recording anything or you're using live chat more I can thoroughly recommend.

Quality and Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blue Yeti Microphone Review The box looked great and already had some great information on the back showing the various modes for use. On opening the box the feel of the microphone was brilliant. It had a good weight to it and looked and felt like it had a good build quality as well as being visually appealing too. Having the stand was a great touch and meant you were able to get going straight away. The only downside really is how the stand adjusts with having to tighten both sides but this isn’t really a big deal. It was really quick to get going with no set up to speak of and the buttons were fairly self explanatory on the microphone itself. The only thing to try and remember were what modes the different symbols represent as stereo and bi-directional are pretty similar. It’s also a little frustrating having the mode options and particularly the gain on the back as you have to turn it around to make the changes rather than being able to do it all from the front. Whilst changing modes is not always going to be needed quickly, being able to adjust gain would be helpful. The sound quality is really great and in some cases the cardioid mode almost picks up too much. When testing it in Zoom it picks up all of the squeaks, taps and rattles of anything you are doing really well so that remembering to mute when you aren’t talking or doing something is really key. From an end-listener standpoint on Zoom it doesn’t seem to add a great deal to audio but I can imagine for podcasting it has a really rich sound. The sound for singing vocals is excellent and I can foresee playing around a bit more with the bi-directional mode to record some duets. Vocals are sharp and defined and it has a great range of frequency for bass and treble notes. The only issue I had with it was the omni-directional mode. When trying to record some narration for video editing the mode picked up some places in the room far better than others providing uneven audio volume and requiring going back to utilising a smartphone microphone which was more balanced and clearer. A brilliant product which does a lot of different things well. I’d highly recommend it and look forward to seeing what I can produce with it.

good microphone for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microphone was packaged really well, in a sturdy box and surrounded on all sides by protective foam. The microphone itself has a good balance between weight and flexibility making it feel like a premium product. The color is stunning and looks much better in person than in pictures. In terms of the user experience, this microphone was really straight forward to use (for a newbie) and worked great even with very basic apps (such as the microphone recording from the microsoft store) but also with more professional ones. The four knob settings gives some versatility to it and makes it suitable for a wider range of applications. The main feature that I disliked were the knobs. Looking at the microphone from a straight profile, the knobs were not fitted properly and you can see on the right hand side a little bit of the PCB's inside. Furthermore, changing the knobs from one position to another is difficult and a most of the times I needed to put a lot of pressure otherwise my fingers would keep slipping. All in all, the microphone does a good job and even though there are some aspects lacking, but maybe ease of use (connecting to the app etc.) might compensate for that.

Beautiful piece of equipment

Has a mute button, jack port for headphones. And has great sound quality. My son has a YouTube channel for recording gameplay and I am now the best mum ever lol.

Absolutely amazing

The sound is crystal clear and you have the option to adjust the settings to suit what you are recording to. There is also a mute button that lights red do you know when you are muted. You can connect your headphones into the mic so you can hear yourself as your talking. There is no delays

Crisp sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This yeti is a very high fidelity microphone, it has tunable directionality, and maintains balance when even significantly off axis. I set it on my desk and can dictate with the best fidelity and accuracy I have ever experienced. It's easy to set up, merely connect the included cable into both the microphone and usb port on your PC. The instructions are very clear and briefly describes the different modes the microphone has. What I really like about it is that it also tells you what the different modes are recommended for. The quality of the microphone is superb. It pretty much picks up everything. From mechanical keyboard clicks to you swallowing just a bit loudly. Very very excellent.

Phenomenal sound quality and vocals

Not only does it look super stylish and chic, but the sound quality it boasts is the best I have ever experienced. It hooked up to my Macbook pro seamlessly with the USB cable and worked like a charm. I absolutely love having the physical mute button and its easy to know its muted due to the blinking red dot. A must buy if sound quality matters to you!
