Excellent quality camera for the money
Been using these cameras for almost a month now and im very happy with them. Picture quality is excellent both night and day and detection is very good. They cover a great area and the zooming the picture reveals substantial detail.

All rounder camera
It’s a better product than a standard camera, it does a better zoom than a 2k, and very clear picture, has a good vision at night, it also pick out a small animal in its view, and has a wide angle view with far distance capture.

It's a positive upgrade.
Tapo have upped their game with this camera. Up to 4K clarity which does make a difference. I have it positioned in a bedroom window and the field of view is brilliant The zoom plus clarity is brilliant. Am contemplating replacing my C230 with another on these.

Great features.
I bought this camera to keep an eye on my dog and it is a great camera especially the night vision it is so clear. I have bought cheap cameras before but in my opinion it is worth paying that bit extra.

Good upgrade to older model.
Brought this because it has a higher resolution and can read number plates amongst other advantages such as a pet & package detection which has been very useful along with the night vision.

4k internal camera
Bought a few weeks ago . camera picture is very good, but if used inside window looking out you get a reflection off the white body of the camera, had to resort to spraying the body matt black after masking off main lens, this sorted problem of reflection.pan ,tilt are very quiet compared to other models in the range.you also need a high speed u3 sd card for smooth operation. Overall very good for money, but tapo should be selling this camera in black or make a black shell to cover it.

Nice camera good image quality.
Good quality image, easy to set up. Pity the up/down is limited to about 110 degrees whereas Left and right is nealry 360. The mounting bracket is good but the way you push the camera in to the lugs is pretty poor and can snap, a proper tripod screw mount would be better. hence only 4 stars

Good Buy
It fits a market place where i struggled to find a quality 5GHz camera, and this fits the bill perfectly.

Great indoor camera
Fab little camera in 4k, great clear images and easy to set up on the Tapo app. Power cable is a decent length, but would be even better if it had a wireless option too. I’m using it as a baby monitor and it has AI to detect and alert you on your phone of baby crying which works well. It comes with a wall mount and can also be placed freestanding on a flat surface, which is what I have currently done. Does not come with an SD card, but otherwise has everything else you need. Overall it’s a very good indoor camera and I would recommend it.

Hi,
The Tapo C260 does not have a built-in battery; it uses a 5V DC power adapter. If you need to use it continuously for extended periods, we still recommend using the power adapter included in the package to connect to a wall outlet.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Hi Jensta,
No, you do not need Amazon Alexa for your Tapo C260 camera to function. The camera works independently using the Tapo app on your smartphone, where you can view and manage all camera features.
Amazon Alexa is simply an optional third-party integration that adds extra convenience. If you choose to use Alexa, you can stream the live feed on Echo Show devices or control the camera with voice commands. However, you'll need to set up the camera in the Tapo app first before adding it to Alexa.
So in summary: the Tapo app is what you need for the camera to work, while Alexa is just an optional feature for additional control methods.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Hi Sweets.
Tapo C260 4K 8MP Pan/Tilt AI Home Security Wi-Fi Camera can see clearly even in low-light conditions with advanced night vision that provides visibility up to 40 ft.
Thanks for using Q and A.
Yes and NO.
Any camera can work through a window but there are a lot of limits based on the angle of the camera to the window glass, the light levels internally that can bounce back into the camera blocking or obliterating any image you hope to capture.
Then theres outside light issues, such as sunshine hitting the window that can cause sunburst to the image, low light that then means all you capture is a reflection of the camera its self, dirt on the window that can block any image, etc...!
