Dyson V16 Piston Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

The V16, quick and simple to use.

A simple to use and effective vacuum cleaner. Very easy to get up running and registered with the Dyson App. The V16 piston has 3 modes, even in the normal mode it has plenty of charge left after a good clean. It almost makes house cleaning a joy, depending on how much you like house cleaning.

Best Dyson I’ve owned

Bought my new Dyson nearly 3 weeks ago great suction power best one I’ve had and I’ve had quite a few Although keeps saying full but it isn’t so I just ignore it Only problem I’ve had is detaching the pipe from the body to empty bin so I put a bit of wd40 on the small rubber seal which worked a treat now detaches easy Bit to heavy for the elderly but I’m fine with it

Brilliant as usual

I have had Dyson cordless vacuums for many years I usually pass them on to granddaughters as I find they hardly ever stop working and it’s my pleasure to have a new one The latest is incredible brilliant suction, quite quiet I like the fact I have connection to Wi-Fi and I have support from Dyson however I would have liked the extra tools to have been on the vacuum itself like my older one, I am in my late 70s and find myself searching for the little tools apart from that it’s brilliant easy to carry up the stairs

Lighter Weight

I have other Dyson stick hoovers. This one seems to be lighter in weight and works just as well. The only downside is that when removing the hand held unit, I find it difficult to release the button from the stick

Battery needs to be longer and pushing the rubbish down is good then getting to the top is tough

Good hoover but the new design of the head sucks

It’s a good hoover and mostly an upgrade on my old v10. However as others have said the new head design is pretty much trash. I find it no good for carpets and it does leave a gap in the liver if your hoover lines due to its design. I hope to god they design a provide a new main head soon. The rest is geat, love the ability to compress the dustbin this saves a bunch of time. And the built in mini nozzle attachment is fantastic!

Great features

A game changer for pet hair fantastic suction low noise easy to empty with dust compressor the light makes it easy to see dust and pet hair . A little heavy and the angular head does not always fit under units , expensive yes but for two indoor cats and a pet dog for me worth it .

Rather wish we hadn’t…

It would’ve been perhaps rather naive of us to expect an impeccably high quality product from Dyson. But we certainly haven’t thought this this time around on purchasing our forth hoover from them. I spend more time taking the thing apart and cleaning out apparent blocked airways and filter only to find that there’s hardly a thing that’s been picked up to be cleared out. When going, it’s pretty good, but it’s never for very long before it cuts out giving a “airway blocked” notification on its screen. I only wish I could be more positive in our new purchase, but satisfied? I am not. This will be our last Dyson.
