Mr Svet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker is a versatile home dessert machine that turns pre-frozen mixtures into smooth ice cream, sorbet, or milkshakes with a powerful spinning blade. It stands out for letting you fully customize ingredients, making it especially popular for healthier or high-protein recipes. While the texture can be impressively creamy after a re-spin, it does require advance preparation (freezing overnight) and can be quite loud during use. Overall, it’s a great option for people who enjoy experimenting with homemade treats rather than needing quick, on-demand ice cream.

I was sCREAMing for this!
I am 8 years old, this is the best birthday present I have ever had. My grandma is the best, but not as good as this machine.

My own Mr Whippy
I would have given it 5 stars if the instructions at the very beginning woukd have neen a lot more simple for set up . When eventually worked it out the machine proved to be a bit noisier than expected but the actual finished ice cream or dessert is wonderful .I now have my own Mr Whippy and looking forward to trying more flavours .The clean up couldn't be easier .

Amazing product
Brought this product about a month ago and it’s amazing. Slightly louder than the other one we have but overall amazing and would definitely buy again.

Really disappointed with the cream scoop and swirl
Really disappointing machine, so many different parts, the whole things is such a faff to use and clean. You have to complete so many parts to actually get the Mr Whippy style ice-cream that it’s just not worth the hassle. The machine is huge and really heavy so you need a good sized kitchen and extra worktop space to store it. returned it and am still waiting for a refund.

Looks great, but that's as good as it gets sadly..
Looks good in my kitchen, but I can't get on with it at all. I've tried several recipes and they all turn out rubbish. I'm either doing something seriously wrong, or it's genuinely rubbish. Better off buying ice cream. I regret buying this.

Disappointing
A bit disappointing overall. Much more of a hassle than the marketing suggests. It takes 24 hours to pre freeze your ice cream or frozen yogurt after preparation. We chose 4 tubs which take up a lot of room in your freezer. The machine is also very noisy while processing in readinesses for dispensing.

Absolutely amazing I love that I can make healthy, high-protein ice cream at home. The texture is perfect every time. It's much better than store-bought options. Great investment!

Ninja scoop and Swirl.
Bought this with birthday money, hoping to make fresh, healthier treats, and the occasional cheat day chocolate. So far the start on the healthier Mango sorbet has been spectacular. Blended then froze ingredients for the recommended 24hrs, then applied the sorbet scoop function. The honest opinion is this is quite a loud machine no doubt. But definitely manageable, and on the sorbet function it needed only three minutes. It needed a re-spin with just a touch of liquid, but this is entirely acknowledged and very quickly laid out in the handy start up guide. Texture is very convincing for a sorbet. Initial impressions on cleaning operation is a quick handwash is very easy. I've not yet tried the soft serve option, surely next on my list, but I will aim to soon and provide further feedback on that and the multitude of other options. I also have one of the outdoor grills and that's been a big hit too. A big fan so far of these products. When I can afford to I will certainly continue to look at Ninja products.

Yes, you can make reduced sugar recipes in the Ninja CREAMi Swirl by using sugar substitutes like agave, nectar, and alternative thickeners if needed. Always use the LITE ICE CREAM program when using any sugar substitutes. Results may vary, as sugar affects texture and freezing.
The Ninja NC701UK is designed primarily for frozen desserts like ice cream, gelato, sorbet, frozen yoghurt, milkshakes, and soft‑serve, and it doesn't have a Smoothie option.
No, it doesn't have a refrigerator, and the mix has to stay in the freezer for 24 hours before use.
Depending on the bundle, the Ninja Swirl comes with 2 or 4 480ml tubes.
The Swirl's dimensions are as follows, Darren: H: 44.5cm x W: 38.5cm x D: 25.5cm.
Yes, the NC701UK can make ice cream with goat milk. The Swirl processes dairy and dairy alternative bases into ice cream or soft serve. Freeze the base in the Swirl pint for at least 24 hours, then run Ice Cream or Soft Serve. For best texture use a full fat base with added sugar as guided for similar dairy recipes.
Yes, you can make a coffee style frappe using the Milkshake program. For a quick version add scoops of coffee ice cream and milk to the Swirl Tub, then run Milkshake. The unit can also process a frozen coffee base after you freeze it in the tub for at least 24 hours, then run Milkshake to thin to a sippable texture. It is not a blender and cannot crush ice cubes or make smoothies from ice and liquid. For a classic iced coffee frappe with ice use a Ninja blender instead.
You supply your own mix-in ingredients, there’s no proprietary powder or cartridge. To use the Swirl by CREAMi NC701UK you must choose a liquid base (dairy or non-dairy milk, yogurt or even juice) plus sweetener and flavorings of your choice, then pour up to 480 ml of your mixture into one of the freezer tubs and freeze for 24 hours, lock the frozen pint into the machine, select your program and let the Creamerizer paddle spin it into soft serve or scoopable ice cream.
If you make more ice cream than needed, you can definitely store it in the freezer. However, since temperature can impact the consistency of the preparation, we recommend reprocessing it before attempting to use it.
With the Ninja Creami Swirl, it is possible to make 4 cones per tub.
