Really good wardrobe
After reading all the reviews we were slightly skeptical about getting this but our son really liked it. It arrived in two very heavy boxes so we took everything out and tried to work out what was what. I would strongly advise that you go through all the packets of screws and fixings and label the bags as the numbers on the outside do not match anything on the picture and some of them are very similar in size. This will save you a lot of time as on several occasions the wrong ones were used and had to be removed. It's also worth noting that some places you are screwing into don't have holes and you have to screw into the wood directly. It ended up taking 2 days to build as we took out time after reading the other reviews as we wanted to be as careful as possible. It's a really good size with the two separate sides to hang, then four decent sized drawers and a cupboard. We haven't put the feet on as it was easier for us to build in situ and slide it. We had no issues with any damage to any of the items, our only real issues were mainly user error. We purchased when it had a discount on, I'm not sure I'd have paid full price for it.

Poor quality, frustrating assembly, too many parts
Painstakingly difficult to assemble, with an overwhelming number of fixings, hard-to-distinguish screw sizes, cheap fixtures, and poor-quality panels. Within the first hour of building, it became clear that the design and materials were sub-par, but by then I was beyond the point of returning it. I have years of flat-pack experience, but this wardrobe took eight exhausting hours to complete. Even using an electric screwdriver, my hands were sore for days afterwards. The instructions include a step where you’re asked to measure a position on the back panel and screw ‘blindly’ into an internal shelf, with only 2 mm of tolerance either side. One wrong attempt leaves a permanent, visible hole inside the unit, I know because it happened to me. Adding to the frustration, I ordered two units (wardrobe and tallboy) but their parts were mixed together across several boxes. You have to unpack everything to locate the pieces you need, rather than working from clearly labelled, unit-specific boxes. The door hinges are cheap and difficult to align, leaving the finished product looking uneven. If Habitat had offered to collect these items within the first hour of opening the boxes, I would have gladly accepted — and saved myself a wasted day and two sore hands.

Hard to put together
Very complicated to put together because nothing is numbered and the holes were drilled incorrectly.Pieces hardly fit together and the doors don’t close all the way and the drawers don’t close properly. The end result is fine but putting it together was awful.

Nice wardrobe, VERY difficult to build
I like the finished wardrobe - looks smart and is good quality and sturdy for the price. I am only giving three stars though because it was an absolute pain to put together. I've built loads of flatpacks over the years and haven't seen one quite like this. The main problem was that the wardrobe includes a large number of screws and the pilot holes for these were inadequate and all had to be enlarged before screws would go in - other pilot holes were not provided at all. This greatly increased the build time. I am pleased with the wardrobe so for me it was worth the effort to build, but this is maybe one to avoid if you are a DIY beginner or you need something that can be constructed quickly.

Poor quality and damaged door.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago. Looks great in the photos but materials are poor quality and a door was damaged. Tried contacting Argos but sent around in circles trying to get an answer- decided just to repair the door myself. The design of the wardrobe is good just needs to be better quality.

Difficult to put together
This was incredibly difficult to put together, took ages and required a lot of drilling. I was expecting more of a slot together ikea type thing. The doors don't quite line up and it doesn't really seem like value for money. I don't think I would buy it again.
