About this product
The Argos Home Scandinavia 5 Drawer Chest gives you a tidy place to keep your essentials close at hand. It's solid pine, a natural hardwood that's sturdy and stands up well to daily bedroom use. Five generous drawers mean there's space for t-shirts, pyjamas, socks and jewellery, each with its own spot. The white painted finish pairs with a natural pine top and simple button handles for a clean, unfussy look that works with most bedroom styles. The smooth surface wipes clean easily, so you can keep it looking fresh.
The lacquered top layer protects the wood and creates a hardwearing finish that handles everyday knocks. Metal drawer runners let each drawer glide smoothly, even when fully loaded. There's a small gap underneath, so you can hoover beneath without shifting it around. Wall fixings included for secure mounting and stability. Self-assembly required with two people recommended. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included for peace of mind.
The chest has a lacquered layer on top to create a smooth, hardwearing finish. Decorate it with family photos or a candle collection. There's a small clearance from the floor, so you can even get the vacuum under there.

Don't buy this unit unless you don't want it looking like the Picture. unless the 2 units I brought was put together on a Friday all the screw holes were not in the right place wood has split very easy bits missing holes not drilled. just a bag of screws etc. not labeled so unless you are going to get a tape measure out to measure the screws. Storge is too small. The only thing that is any good is the draw handles

Not bad…did t look to exceptional f for me drawers small capacity. Make sure you use the correct screws because if they are two long they will split the wood as the screws were jumbled up. I chose this chest of drawers, as it had less negative results as many I had looked at.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Scandinavia 5 Drawer Chest - Pine: ''The top panel of this chest has been tested according to furniture safety standards and, based on those results, we recommend a maximum load of 50 kg (evenly distributed) on the top surface.
A 15-gallon aquarium typically weighs around 65–75 kg when filled with water, substrate, glass, and accessories. This would exceed the recommended load capacity of the chest.
For that reason, we do not recommend placing a 15-gallon fish tank on top of this unit. A dedicated aquarium stand or a piece of furniture specifically designed for this kind of load would be a much safer option.''
