Quiet and powerful
A considered purchase but one that has lived up to the many positive reviews I have read on this site and others. The decision to go for a bladed fan rather than those without a blade was a good one. This well designed fan is adjustable in height, floor to desk, has an easy to understand remote control that is stored magnetically on the front. It is quite so useful during hot nights. The air flow can be regulated as can the fans movements

Quiet and effective
I bought this fan just a few days ago as a quieter fan for night time. It's really good. Moves a lot of air, is very quiet and really solid. You don't get a blast like you do with the other meaco fans, but you get more breeze per decibel than those. The ability to change height is really useful. I do wish is was telescopic, but you have to add a remove chunks of the pole. It's not too fiddly though.

Great fan of this great fan!
Already own a Meaco fan so was happy to purchase another. The stand is very sturdy. The fan is quiet and I love we can alter the range of the swing so it just covers two of us on the sofa. Haven’t tried all 12 speeds yet but the heatwave is coming and I’m confident this fan will look after us.

Bought yesterday so far so good somehow manages to blow cool air even when temperatures reach high 20’s. Recommend by a friend who says it’s better than a Dyson. Easy to control with remote that handily attaches to the front of the fan magnetically. Moves up and down as well as side to sid with options for the distance it moves. Very quiet and option to turn off display so no bright light in the bedroom

A fan that's smarter than me. I love it.
I wanted this fan after reading a review in a newspaper I have purchased several fans and they are rubbish. After a few hiccups with recieving it and being blagged by Argos customer services it finally arrived four days late. When I first opened it I was horrified as I couldn't see the height poles in the box. However, they are neatly stashed away on the other side of the packaging! Then I couldn't get any power to it but after some investigation I realised I had cross threaded one of the extension poles so not making a connection. When I finally put it together properly I was blown away. Literally! Is it worth paying £180 for a fan? Oh yes! It's weather now so not had a proper test in the heat but the adaptable oscillation will be great I think. Add the cute little remote is magnetic and fixes to the centre of the fan. You can control it to a certain extent without the remote but there's two buttons on the fan itself. The airflow is impressive, blowing things off the wall on the other side of the room! I'm impressed and the old saying you get what you pay for rings true. I just wish Argos and Sainsbury's would get rid of their awful pride branding it's boring now and out of fashion.

Great cooling fan.
I bought this for my bedroom as I have the smaller one in the lounge and that is amazing. It throws out cold air somehow even when it’s really hot. I needed one for upstairs and found this on a pedestal. It’s just as good as the first one and is so quiet. It even has a night mode so you can turn the noises and lights off. It also has 2 oscillating options. Sideways and up & down. You can precisely position it to cool where you need it. Highly recommend this product.

This is my second purchase of a Meaco fan, this one is for use in the bedroom the first one was for use in the living room and was much appreciated during the last heat-wave. I have been impressed by the design and the quietness of this product. Well worth the price.

The Meaco Sefte White Pedestal Fan - 10 Inch has a brushless motor for a quieter operation, the noise level starts at 25 decibels which is considered very quiet. For, comparison, 30 decibels is considered to be a whisper.
Higher speeds may be slightly louder, but, all in all, this is a very quiet fan.
