No great features
I thought De’Longhi was a reputable brand, so disappointed 😞, the first kettle I purchased leaked boiling water from the base, when using for the first time. This kettle was collected and replaced with the same model. Within two days it was also leaking from the base on boiling water, which to be honest I was totally disgusted, on this occasion I brought the kettle back to Argos ,myself and was given a refund.

Okay, but....
I bought this kettle along with the matching toaster and microwave. It's a good kettle but....my gripes are these. It's a bit plasticky and feels cheap - which I'm surprised at for the brand. Also, despite boiling it multiple times and washing the filter it still had a horrible metal taste for over a week. I fixed this by boiling 2 tablespoons of bicarb with half a kettle of water. Let it stand for 30mins and it went away. It was in a sale/promo so that was a bonus.

Very stylish .Looks great with matching toaster. Pours perfectly. Metal makes it hot to touch but soon get used to that and water can splash out when removing snug fit lid as cannot steady hot casing to take lid off gently.
