The fibreglass rod extends when you need it and collapses for storage. Eva foam handles provide comfortable grip for longer sessions. “The rod has a casting weight of 25-50g. The line has a breaking strain of 12lbs. How big a fish can be caught on 12lb line depends on the skill of the angler to use the rod and the drag of the reel correctly to tire the fish before netting it. A fish of 20lb should not be a problem.”

Yes, this set can be used for sea fishing. We recommend using the float set with the black/orange float from a pier/rocks for species such as wrasse for example, and the lure set for spinning for predatory species such as mackerel, bass etc.
