About this product
The 60 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter features a magnetic DC connector that ensures your power cable will disconnect if it experiences undue strain and helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time. In addition, the magnetic DC helps guide the plug into the system for a quick and secure connection.
When the connection is secure, an LED located at the head of the DC connector will light up; an amber light lets you know that your portable is charging, while a green light tells you that you have a full charge. An AC lead is provided with the adapter for maximum lead length, while the AC wall adapter (also provided) gives users an even easier and more compact way to travel.
- Connection purpose: 60W MagSafe Power Adapter (for MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Pro.
- Manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

Not the right kind
I had ordered the 60W MagSafe for click and collect but when I went in to the store they had the wrong one. Had to reorder. Waste of time and money travelling to the store. The staff was helpful to place a new order to collect at a later time.

Always buy the original, if you can
I initially bought a cheap non Apple charger from Amazon, and then received electric shocks off the laptop lid, so luckily Argos still supply the originals for the older Mac and it works great. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Works with an ancient MacBook Pro
Works with a mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Seems to be a genuine Apple product. But wow, the cost !

Perfect Replacement Charger
This is an authentic Apple charger with both ends of the leads, one coming from the adapter to the plug and the other coming from the adapter to the charging dock on the MacBook. Slightly overpriced in my opinion but I’m happy that it is not a cheap knock off and should last a very long time like my last one did (8 years).

Great Product with amazing charging speeds. Would definitely recommend. I have used it for a while now and is extremely sturdy much better than the previous generation of chargers.

You will need a MagSafe 2 Power adapter (45 Watt) instead. You can use a compatible higher wattage power adapter without issue, but it won't make your computer charge faster or operate differently.
