The Etta 6-8 seater oak extending dining table has a gently rounded, veneered top and elegant, tapered legs in solid oak. A compact, slightly feminine design, the Etta table is perfect for smaller living spaces and has a simple extension mechanism. Exclusive to Habitat and also available in black-stained oak. The Etta table is made in Estonia and has a matt lacquer finish to protect its surface.

Love love love! This table is such good quality and looks really premium. The colour is a lovely oak colour and exceeded my expectations. Heavy and sturdy! My partner built this by himself so is easy to assemble. We have stairs leading up to our house and the delivery driver was fab. Excellent value for money , the only problem is when it’s new it is very sensitive to shade change when exposed to light so either put a table cover over the entire table or leave it completely bare otherwise it will darken unevenly.

“ The width of the table is 980mm without the extension and 1480mm with the extensions. We don't produce Etta chairs but we produce Etta Bench, 1420mm. ”

Yes, the legs do move further apart when you extend the table. It’s of the type where you pull the whole table apart and then fit the centre sections in, rather than being the other type where you just pull the leaves of the table apart and the legs and underside just stay the same.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Etta Extending 6 - 8 Seater Dining Table -Oak Veneer: The legs are attached to the tabletop with screws and nuts – attached to the underskirt of the table.

If what the supplied says is true then the photos are misleading as the photos showing the table extended show an extra bit in the middle under the table top which would extend the gap between the legs - please confirm that this is an error and that it is only the table top that extends.

The supplier has advised the following for the Etta Extending 6 - 8 Seater Dining Table -Oak Veneer:
The legs do not move at all when the table is extended so the spacing between the legs is always the same. Only the size of the table top changes. At the base of the legs, they're 1156mm apart and, at the top of the legs, they're 960mm apart. (The legs are slightly sloped and go up at an angle).

Our supplier has advised that the Habitat Etta Extending 6 - 8 Seater Dining Table does have a veneer which adds a layer of protection, however any spills should be cleaned up immediately with a damp cloth. You can add a protective layer of polish/vanish if wanted.

“From the base of the table top to the floor it is 725mm, there is an 80mm square section in the middle of the able top underneath for the legs to attach too. This area from the base to the floor will be 645mm in height. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Etta Extending 6 - 8 Seater Dining Table -Oak Veneer: It can be done, but the outcome can be uneven. This depends if the desk is worn down in some places or not. If the natural veneer is without the varnish, then this will absorb more of the oil and will be darker compared to the parts that have the varnish still intact.
