About this product
Whether you're navigating easy trails or setting up camp in low light, the Decathlon USB Rechargeable Head Torch keeps your path lit without the battery fuss. The USB charging means you plug it in at home or in the car, ready to go when you are. Made from silicone, it sits comfortably on your head during long evening hikes or while pitching the tent after dark. Water-resistant construction handles drizzle and splashes, so you keep going when the weather shifts.
The shatterproof design stands up to knocks in your rucksack or drops on rocky trails. You get up to ten hours of runtime on a full charge, enough for several nights under canvas or a full day's trekking. It works with car socket charging, handy for road trips to campsites or festivals. The rechargeable battery saves you carrying spares, cutting down weight and waste. Quality product...
Nice bright light. Bought instead of a hand torch. Decathlon is a good 'middle of the road' company with good quality products. I put 4 stars for battery as I had to put something but I haven't had the torch long enough to really comment

Ok but not very bright
Its alright, not very bright (for running at night) but does what it's supposed to I guess. Wouldn't recommend unless you want a long lasting not overly bright head torch with wide angle spread.

Excellent value.
Ive recently gone down the headtorch rabbithole , Ive had the energiser ones. in past .but they have a habit of turning on in pocket, and I would not trust the casing for weatherproofness. Ive actually got a Petzl and Silva 30£ ish torches, This one knocks them out the park, I ve got two, one by my bed, and other one in work trouser pocket, Not once has the torch accidentaly came on. Its got a lovely smooth rubber casing, and the red light is the best ive seen. The other two light settings are perfect. The Silva is brighter. 300lmn . but ive found it too bright, you get over awareness.. ie its just too much information to take in. Ive only had them for under a month, and have not done any battery endurance checks. It says 10hrs . The light does not swivel, but ive found its not really necessary. I wish I had the chance to take on the hill , but havent yet, its a straightforward button operation, ..without having to do any holding down of button, for turning off, like some others makes.

Shining Light
I bought something like this years for lighting up work areas in enclosed spaces or close up stuff when my big head blocked out overhead light and I saw it earlier, still sitting in the drawer where I tossed it because it was completely unfit for purpose. This one is not only a lot cheaper but it also it works! For a start it does actually it on your head and the beam is angled slightly, helpful for those close-up situations or seeing where you're putting your feet if walking in the dark. Also has different coloured lights, the red especially useful for when I need to see without being seen (not as sinister as it sounds, unless you're vermin!) Now in my kit bags so I have them to hand - or head - whenever I need them. Also good for reading in the dark, like just the other night, during yet another powercut
