As a hairdresser I would suggest if you used other methods of curling your hair eg tongs and your hair held the curl ,then yes these would work
If your hair is one length or long layers then they should stay in the rollers ,as you probably know thin hair with weight of rollers sometimes won’t hold in ,they just slide out if that’s more you , then use easy grip rollers on damp or dry hair used a blow dry spay for fix and hold .it’s very hard to judge not seeing your hair

Simply put if you’ve used rollers before and they work these are no heavier than any other type ,if you curl your hair & 2 minutes later it’s flat and straight then probably nothing except a soft body perm would work
