Fantastic piece of equipment
I bought this for the summer holidays to use abroad on a cruise ship and it was perfect. It lived up to it's features. Great stability and tracking and easy to operate. So glad I got this when I did.

Great option to stabilise your videos
I had the previous DJI OM 5, and the OM 7P is a good upgrade, adding support for heavier phones and extra controls and camera movements (like the roll feature).

Great for taking shake free photos with my phone.
I’ve seen these being used by people who are taking pictures and videos with their phones. I always thought they were a bit of a waste of money! But when I took a video of my granddaughter and it was very poor quality, due to my hand shaking a little, I decided it was time for me to start using a gimbal. I did some research and decided to buy a DJI Osmo made gimbal. I am very pleased with it, gone are my shaky video clips and blurred pictures. I took some time trying it out before using it at a family event, I’m delighted with the results. If you want to get the best results from using a mobile phone for photos and especially videos buy one of these.

Loses balance
My intention was to use this for live music and mount the gimble on a stand, as soon as a bit of bass came through it loses balance and just drops. Poor.

Such a game changer!
I have never used one of these before and felt a bit overwhelmed when I just got it - since using the software and videos as a guide, this item is brilliant! Great for stabilising videos, the AI tracking makes my videos so cinematic and appealing and as a content creator for an industry leader in rail infrastructure, this has amplified our content quality by double! I love this device and would highly recommend to anyone, even for great holiday videos! I am using it with my iPhone 16 Pro and the weight of the phone doesn’t affect t use at all!
