Customers Say
Compact deep fryer ideal for 1-2 people, cooks crispy chips quickly, easy to use and clean. Some concerns about handle safety and oil emptying, but overall good value and performance.

Just the correct size
Got this 2 weeks ago and it's brilliant

Compact
Bought a few weeks ago manly for chips instead of air fryer makes better chips than air fryer easy to use and compact only downside is emptying the old oil, big enough for 2 people also you have to be careful with the handle on the basket as it can unclipp but would still recommend it

Quite good but….
For the money it’s not a bad buy. It does do enough chips for two people and at the right temperature they come out lovely. However, the handle used to get the basket out and the way you have to use it is dangerous, it’s difficult to get it to slot in correctly and your fingers come dangerously close to the very hot oil. Be very careful, I’ll keep it for a while but may upgrade in the future to one that has a much safer method of attaching the handle to the basket. Disappointing really, bad and unsafe design but for the money what do you expect!

A great, convenient compact deep fryer.
It takes 3-4 packets of lard, melts/worms it all up in about 10 mons. During it's operation, a lot of condensed water collects on the underside of the lid. When the lid is opened it's best to have something to soak up the water before it falls into the hot fat. Overall, still a great, convenient compact deep fryer.

Dinky but does the job
Small but perfectly formed. Found other friers were too big and heavy. This is portable with sufficient capacity for two people.

Compact fits under cupboard
Bought this a few weeks ago, thought it might be worth trying as there is only 2 of us,but it’s worked out well

Good
Very pleased with value for money. Capacity, fine for the two of us but would struggle for larger family.

Hello Trev,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks 1.5L Deep Fat Fryer - White: ''It is not advised to leave the oil in the deep fat fryer. It is better to remove and store the oil in an airtight container if wishing to use the oil again.
Once the oil is removed wipe down the fryer to remove residue. You do not need to do a full deep clean after every use.''

Hello Cherri,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks 1.5L Deep Fat Fryer - White: This is a small 1.5L deep fat fryer, suitable for 1-2 portions.
There are maximum and minimum guidelines in the fryer for oil levels which need to be followed.
The food being cooked should be submerged in oil and should be arranged with spaces between the pieces to allow for even frying. For larger portions, the food can be cooked in batches.

Thanks for using Q&A.
The box does not state the correct information because the bowl will not come out. It is totally misleading, the instruction manual doesnt state the bowl comes out. It would make things easier if it did come out.
