Compact, easy-to-use deep fat fryer ideal for 1-2 people. Produces crispy, delicious chips quickly with good temperature control. Easy to clean but some find the handle and lid design tricky or unsafe.

Great little fryer!
Great little cheap and cheerful fryer... makes lovely chips and surprising how many it can make in a small basket. Heats up quickly and is cheap to run at only 800 watts compared to my air fryer which is 2000 watts and takes twice as long... Can't beat homemade chips, was fed up with frozen chips they just don't taste the same!

Small and mighty
I bought it as a stop gap until I could afford a bigger and better one but honestly, it’s really cute, takes up a tiny amount of space and fries well. It’s perfect for just me and my husband, really not worried about looking for anything better any time soon. It doesn’t need anything else. Simple works well.

Hello Trev,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks 1.5L Deep Fat Fryer - White: ''It is not advised to leave the oil in the deep fat fryer. It is better to remove and store the oil in an airtight container if wishing to use the oil again.
Once the oil is removed wipe down the fryer to remove residue. You do not need to do a full deep clean after every use.''

Hello Cherri,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks 1.5L Deep Fat Fryer - White: This is a small 1.5L deep fat fryer, suitable for 1-2 portions.
There are maximum and minimum guidelines in the fryer for oil levels which need to be followed.
The food being cooked should be submerged in oil and should be arranged with spaces between the pieces to allow for even frying. For larger portions, the food can be cooked in batches.

The box does not state the correct information because the bowl will not come out. It is totally misleading, the instruction manual doesnt state the bowl comes out. It would make things easier if it did come out.
