Great Fryer
An excellent fryer at a very reasonable price. We only use it for chips and they are always crisp using the twice fried method. Very pleased.

Dangerous handle configuration
Bought used once and binned it. The handle on the basket has to be removed to close the lid, trying to insert into the side clips to raise basket while battling hot oil proved difficult and dangerous, I actually got hot oil on a finger and sustained a small burn. Due to this I chucked it out. But the chips were tasty š

Cheap but with its drawbacks
Cheap and cheerful, but be aware lid pops up quite quick and the steam from the lid drops into fat causing quite loud bangs and spitting. I leave the lid up which avoids this Not the best option but was alarming when it happened

Not the best but fine given the price

There are maximum and minimum guidelines in the fryer for oil levels which need to be followed.
The food being cooked should be submerged in oil and should be arranged with spaces between the pieces to allow for even frying. For larger portions, the food can be cooked in batches.

The box does not state the correct information because the bowl will not come out. It is totally misleading, the instruction manual doesnt state the bowl comes out. It would make things easier if it did come out.
