Awful- do not purchase
This is so flimsy. Took hours to put together and doesn’t connect at all to the base. Worse, even when delicately balanced the light isn’t strong enough and you can barely see the stars

Too hard to assemble and flimsy once built
Good design idea but poorly executed. I got this for a kid cousin, was too hard to assemble for him, I spent a great amount of time doing so and once together, it was held rather poorly - the film surface used as the lamp shade is not held together well.

Trash
When taking it out of the box you'll see all the pieces are individual and needs putting together, on trying to put this together I had to give up after 3hrs and put it down and go and take a couple of tablets for my blood pressure, to be honest you need about six hands all doing something different, well I did anyway, so suffice to say, it went neatly back in the box and back to Argos.

Hi Em,
Locate the Controls on this Popular Science Star Lamp Projector: Look for the date adjustment controls on the projector. These are usually buttons or knobs.
Use the controls to set the desired date.
Once you’ve set the date, the projector will accurately display the constellations for that specific night.
You can set the day and month for an exact replication of the night sky on any given date.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a specific marker to indicate the date directly on the projector.
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Q&A

Hi Dans,
The Science Museum Star Lamp Projector will cover the whole room and will look like the night sky.
Please read the reviews on this item for more information.
Thank you for using Argos Q + A.
It covers the room but very blurry. You can only tell the stars out from like a meter or two away. The effect is still cool over the whole room but not for education or anything.
Hi Chip,
The projector is stationary and does not have a remote control.

Hi Kirsty,
