Nice piece of equipment
This docking station is fab, it’s very pleasing to the eye and very solid in build and won’t move around. The braided cable is a great touch meaning that the cable won’t break easily. The are loads of various ports however I do wish there was one more usb-c port as there is only one. Easy to use and great for working on the go.

My Experience with the Kensington MD120U4 USB4
I recently got my hands on the **Kensington MD120U4 USB4 Portable Docking Station**, and let me tell you, it's been a game changer for my workspace. This little gadget is one of the first to support USB4, and it's compatible with a wide range of devices and operating systems. I've been using it with my MacBook Pro, and it's been a breeze. It's also compatible with USB4, Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and USB-C 3.2 devices. So whether you're a Windows user, a macOS fan, or even if you're using an iPadOS or Samsung Dex, this docking station has got you covered. One of the things I love about this docking station is its dual display support. I can run Dual 4K @120hz or Single 8K @60hz, which is perfect for when I'm working on graphic-intensive projects. Plus, the 100W Power Pass Through keeps my devices charged up and ready to go. The docking station also comes with a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, which has been a lifesaver for those times when my Wi-Fi is acting up. And the 10Gbps USB-A port makes transferring files between devices super quick. But don't just take my word for it. Other users have also had great experiences with the Kensington MD120U4. One user mentioned how it effortlessly connected their HP laptop to two external monitors. In conclusion, the Kensington MD120U4 USB4 Portable Docking Station is a fantastic addition to any workspace. Its wide range of compatibility, high-quality display support, and additional features like the Ethernet and USB-A ports make it a solid investment. I highly recommend giving it a try!

It does the job, but has too many flaws
I've been using this dock for a couple of weeks now as I wanted to try using my laptop as a main pc and get rid of my desktop. While this dock has decent build quality and works well when it does, it has been too unreliable. At least once every day, one of the usb ports randomly disconnects, and the hdmi often decides to stop working which is frustrating. I'm really not a fan of the form either, there's no way for it to look neat with cables coming out of every side. Also, what is the point of a dock with only 2 usb ports? Sure they're USB4, but what use are they if I can't plug everything in and then have to plug for than this directly into the laptop.

Does require laptop battery to run other devices
This docking station is definitely portable. It's small and lightweight. However it does require you to use it with your laptop charged and the battery from your laptop will power the other docked devices. So for me that isn't super helpful as I'm running 2x monitors plus my laptop and keyboard/mouse. My battery only lasted around an hour and a half for this, so if you are happy to plug your laptop in or have a better laptop battery than I do then this is likely to be the docking station for you. Just be mindful that the cable to connect to the laptop is pretty short as shown in the photos so this will influence your desk set up.

Compact Quality USB Portable Dock
The Kensington USB4 Hub was plug and play to set up in my office, tidying the number of cables and adapters I need to connect to my laptop. To get two HDMI monitors, USB Dongle for Keyboard and Mouse, RJ45 for netorking and power to my laptop this is now very quickly connected via USB-C and immediately recognised. It’s small enough to pop in your laptop bag too if you need it on the move. The Hub is compact with enough cable on it to hide away behind the desks with a couple of cable clips to ensure it stays secure. Doesn't appear to get hot or noisy. I looks very professional and sleek. Ultimately it has improved my busy work station.

Kensington portable docking station
This portable docking station is just brilliant. It's compact and sleek, making it ideal for transporting but it's also discreet for home use, without taking up hardly any desktop space. The docking station is easy to use and I've been able to connect multiple devices to my laptop, including an additional screen, mouse and 2 external hardrives. Highly recommend!
