About this product
The Habitat Simone Corner Desk makes clever use of awkward corner spaces, giving you a proper workspace without taking over the room. It's a compact design that fits into nooks and tight spots where a full-size desk won't go. The natural oak finish brings warmth to your home office or study corner, and the tabletop's got plenty of room for a laptop, lamp and notebook. There's a wide wicker-fronted drawer that keeps pens, cables and everyday bits tidy and out of sight. The solid wood handles feel sturdy in your hand, while the pine and painted finish keep it lightweight but stable.
The drawer runs on wooden runners, so it slides smoothly when you need to grab something. There's no cable access built in, so you'll need to route leads around the desk if that matters to you. The corner shape means it sits neatly against two walls, maximising floor space in smaller rooms. It's designed for self-assembly, and you'll want two people for putting it together. Maximum load capacity is 20kg, so it'll comfortably support your everyday work setup. Comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

perfect as a corner desk
Does the job perfectly as a corner desk with a monitor on it

compact corner desk
nice & functional home desk, it fits in with normal room furniture hence doesn't look too 'officey'. it could just pass for any decorative table really. it's compact but manages to accommodate a monitor display screen & laptop side by side across the back with keyboard, mouse & mouse mat in front. i've positioned it into the corner of the room slightly away from the walls leaving a gap to allow the display screen edge & laptop corner to hang over the desk edge slightly, this is for the most suitable layout of the It equipment. packaged goods not too heavy to carry although i did have to cartwheel it to move it around. quite straightforward to assemble - as a lone female non-diyer i managed to do it by following the pictorial instructions. sturdy & stable. the drawer might come in handy.

A great desk that's easy to install
A great desk! It arrives part pre-assembled. You just have to attach the legs and put the finishing touches to the drawer and you are good to go. It's nice and study and just the right height. I use it for my Chrome book and to clip my hair.

Great desk for a small area
Good solid small desk. I needed it to fit at the side of my chimney in the alcove corner which it does brilliantly. It’s solid and fits my large iMac on with room for a lamp and keyboard and trackpad. I’ve knocked a star off as I don’t like the way the drawer feels when pulled out. It’s not on any runners and it’s a little clunky going in and out. The drawer is a great size though to fit in wires, multiple note pads, sticky note pads, cello tape with plenty of room still. I don’t regret buying it. It’s perfect for what I need. The fact it’s mostly solid wood on the seen parts (I think the drawer sides and bottom are mdf) means in the future I could sand it and stain it a darker walnut wood colour which I’d like to do.
