The Silentnight Middleton Single Memory Divan Bed gives you everything needed for a settled night's rest. The set includes a charcoal divan base, matching fabric headboard, and Middleton memory pocket mattress. Memory foam moulds to your body, easing pressure points and helping you drift off comfortably. Individual pocket springs respond to your weight and movements, keeping your spine aligned and reducing disturbance. The zoned Mirapocket system spreads weight evenly for balanced support. It's designed for single sleepers who prefer a medium to firm feel with a quilted sleep surface.
The mattress features 800 pocket springs and a memory foam layer that conforms to your body. It's single-sided, so rotate it from head to toe regularly to keep it performing well. The quilted knit cover provides a smooth finish. The divan base sits on plastic castors and reaches 38cm high. The fabric headboard attaches securely with included fixings. No storage compartments are built in, keeping the design streamlined. Simple assembly required, two people recommended. Comes with a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee.

Bad design
After receiving this bed and mattress I got to work fitting the headboard, though it says pierce here, the bottom fixings would not screw into the divan, I had to self drill the holes for the fixings and in the process the screws/bolts what ever you want to call them would not go all the way in to secure the headboard to the divan and I tried so hard that the plastic screws were damaged beyond repair. So tbh I'm definitely not happy with the product and I didn't send it back due to the fact I'd be told it was my fault. Waste of money 💰 😔

Very comfortable and perfect height .
I bought 2 of these single beds for my spare room. They are lovely and very comfortable. I have had family stay over Christmas and they loved the comfort of them, The height is also great especially if you have mobility problems to get in and out of bed.

Quality at a good price
I was very pleased with the delivery quick and efficient and the quality of the base and mattress are obvious & I am having great nights of sleep. However, the fitting of the headboard was annoying it has to fit over the mattress otherwise the mattress overlaps the base and with this mattress being so deep there is little room to play with on the mounting posts, they are virtually at full extension to clear the mattress so minus 1 star as I am not sure the headboard will remain stable!

Solid for the price.
The base and headboard is standard canvas. Minimalistic and stylish in my opinion. The mattress is quite firm but as that’s what I prefer I think it’s great. It’s deeper than you think so a lot of sheets may not fit quite right but overall it’s a great purchase at that price point.

Nice bed but !
We brought this bed about 3weeks ago the bed is great but it was delivered without the feet and screws for fixing headboard, up to today we have had no response from Argos to say they will replace them .

The height stated is based on the fully assembled product including castors. The castors will need to be fitted to the product on arrival. If you don't use them, it will reduce the stated height by 4cm.
