About this product
The Silentnight Memory Kingsize Half Ottoman Bed gives you a place to rest well at night while tucking away spare bedding, seasonal clothes, and extra pillows out of sight. Part of the Middleton Collection, it pairs a grey fabric ottoman base with a matching Milan headboard and includes the Middleton memory pocket mattress. The mattress features a cocooning layer of memory foam and a zoned Mirapocket support system that distributes your weight evenly and helps keep your spine aligned. The half ottoman lifts from the end, making it easy to reach stored items without shifting furniture around.
The mattress has a medium firm feel with pocket springs that reduce partner disturbance, so you stay settled through the night. It's a no-turn design, you just rotate it regularly to keep wear even. The knit cover has a quilted finish that feels comfortable and holds up well. The grey fabric base sits on plastic castors and stands 38cm high, while the headboard adds another 57cm. Fixings for the headboard come included. Minimal assembly needed, two people recommended. Comes with a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee.
Ideal for sink-in snoozers, this memory foam mattress gently hugs you to sleep, moulding with the contours of your body for soothing pressure relief. Sink into a blissful night's sleep with the cocooning nature of memory foam which is responsive and pressure relieving, back aches and pains will soothe away. Topped with a quilted finish, perfect for sleepers who prefer a smoother sleep surface and medium to firm feel.

Great quality and comfort for price - minor damage
I bought this to replace a slatted ottoman bed and thin sprung mattress as I needed better support for joint pain. Although only a half ottoman it has lots of storage and is easy to lift and close. Unlike my last bed the ottoman lift function did not need any installation or building and I was able to fix the divan and headboard on my own. The bed and mattress are firm but comfortable and I've had a huge reduction in aches on waking. The pale grey is a lovely colour and looks great with lots of other colours for bedding and decor. Unfortunately though it was slightly water stained at the bottom on arrival which I hope will resolve with a steam clean as I do not want the inconvenience of waiting and removals/delivery and rebuilding. Be careful also removing the staples that have been used to hold on labels and protective cardboard as unfortunately one of these has resulted in a small tear in the fabric. Note that delivery drivers were reluctant to deliver further than the front door as apparently they are not meant to enter 'new houses' or houses with 'new carpet' Overall though I am very happy with the bed and family members are already thinking about buying the same one

comfortable bed
After looking around various showrooms we bought 2 of the single beds for the spare room from Argos. Our decision was based on the availability, price and the fact we did not have to order the frame, mattress and headboard separately. The beds were delivered within 5 days of ordering and at the stated time slot. We are very pleased with the comfort and quality of the beds.

Great value
Bought for new bedroom in time for xmas after building renovation. Don't know how robust it is for regular daily usage but has been perfect for visiting guests. Has storage too which is a plus in my book. Plenty of room to store bedding and extra towels. Lovely plush navy headboard.

Hello sarah,
No, adding drawers in Silentnight Memory Small Double 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Grey does not change the physical width of the bed base itself. The frame of a Small Double remains exactly 120 cm wide (4 feet).
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Alice,
The supplier has advised for the Silentnight Middleton Single Divan Bed - Grey: I can confirm that the single base is one unit.
Thank you for using Q&A.
I ordered this bed thinking I would receive the curved scalloped Merlin headboard, but received the Paris headboard instead - twice!! Argos cannot supply the curved headboard for the small double - incredibly misleading, and breaches the 2015 Consumer Rights Act
Hello Vix,

"The headboard that you receive with this set is the curved headboard."

Hello Ang,
From the information we have available, I can advise the width of a Silentnight Memory Small Double 2 Drawer Divan Bed is 120cm.
Diagram number 3 is showing the sizes of a standard double bed which is 135cm wide, not a small double bed (aka Queen size bed).
Thank you for using Q&A
